These before and after photos show breast reconstruction using implants, in most cases combined with fat grafting, from patients treated by Dr Michael Yunaev in Sydney. Every case on this page followed breast cancer surgery: two women were treated for breast cancer and one for extensive DCIS found on routine screening, each with mastectomy and sentinel node biopsy. The implant rebuilds volume, and where fat grafting was used it refined the feel and contour of the reconstruction across two or three sessions. One reconstruction was completed in a single operation with no revisions, while the others ran to five and seven procedures over two years, and each note records the sequence and how long after surgery the photographs were taken. Individual results vary. Learn more about breast reconstruction Sydney, or book a consultation with Dr Yunaev.
